For the majority of our trip, we stayed at The Scott Resort and… oh, my, gosh! This place is stunning. Even before we stepped in the front doors, I could tell it was going to be an unforgettable experience. The scent they use in their lobby smells incredible like sandalwood & vanilla and carries through the breeze around the whole property, so you feel like a millionaire before you even step foot in the front doors.
The interior design of the lobby and lounge area is immaculate. Spanish-inspired architecture mixes with mid century furniture and boho decor accents. Pair all of that with copious amounts of greenery and rattan, and you’ve got yourself a truly unforgettable design. I mean, how could you forget this place when it is decked out with countless Gleaming Primrose Mirrors… every inch of this place begs to be Instagrammed!
Walk through the gorgeous pool areas (yes, multiple pools!) to get to your room which is equally as beautiful. We had a room with a patio, so we would usually sit there and enjoy a cup of espresso before heading over to the pool each morning. There are plenty of chaise lounges by the pool, and one of the pools even had a faux beach with sand. Aside from the pool, I was really captivated by all of the additional seating they have throughout the property. Follow any of the winding paths and you’re sure to end up at a new sitting spot each time. My favorite little nook was right by the waterfall pond.
