Hello hello! The leaves here in Michigan are finally starting to turn colors, which makes it feel like Fall is in full motion! It’s so much easier to dress for Fall when it’s not actually 80 degrees outside like it had been throughout September 😂
Tyler and I passed by these beautiful yellow leaves in our town yesterday, so of course I had to stop to snap a few pics! I typically shoot my outfits on a tripod (I’m a girl who knows exactly what she wants and how to capture it, so it’s just easier that way!) But since I had Tyler with me, he was able to snap these pics and I think they turned out pretty well! Gotta learn all the angles, lol 😜
Anyway, about the outfit! I bought this skirt a long time ago (maybe 2 or 3 months back) and thought it was the cutest thing. I intended to style it for summer with a nude tank and strappy heels, but life just got so busy! So I thought the khaki green color would also be perfect for Fall too! I really love the cutout and beading on the left side… it just felt so different! My initial thought when I saw this skirt was, “this would be amazing for a tropical vacation”, so if you have one booked soon, you should definitely check this skirt out.
I’ve had the white sweater for a couple of years now and it has held up pretty well. It’s super cozy and long, and I usually style it with leggings. This time, I thought I’d switch it up and try something new, and I really love how it came together! I’m not sure if this exact sweater is still in stock, but I will link a couple of similar ones in the “shop it” slider below this post, if not!
My shoes are the perfect Fall bootie. I picked them up about a month ago from Zara. They hit at the perfect spot mid-calf and are a great height (not too tall, but they still make your legs look super long). I can’t wait to style these with a dress and some good denim; they’re so versatile!
I topped everything off with my simple, go-to gold jewelry staples (hoop earrings and rings). I just really love the combo of a cute mini skirt and a chunky, bulky sweater and boots. Something about it feels so feminine but also casual. Next, I’m looking into some patterned tights to pair with skirts/sweaters as the temps continue to drop, so stay tuned!
