Hello There! The other day we had a few errands to run in downtown Detroit, and ended up indulging in a spontaneous date night. The afternoon started out with overcast skies; a perfect setup for the massage appointment I had scheduled that day. Tyler dropped me off at the spa and went window shopping in the area while I was enjoying some much needed R&R.
By the time I was finished with my appointment, the sun had come out and the city was buzzing with plenty of other people enjoying one of the first 70-degree days we had so far this season. Tyler and I decided to take advantage of this unexpected beautiful weather and popped into some of our favorite local shops, including Bird Bee and Shinola.
We also had amazing luck and were able to make a last minute reservation at San Morello, one of our all-time favorite spots in the entire state. We shared a carciofo pizza and the risi e bisi pasta, and it was the perfect ending to our spontaneous day. If you have a chance to visit downtown Detroit, this is an absolute must-try spot! The food, atmosphere, and decor are all out of this world.
