Has anyone else been seeing cowboy/western boots EVERYWHERE?! Styling them in a chic way seemed intimidating at first, but I found the perfect formula to make any pair look super chic and bring your Pinterest “that girl” dreams to life.
First and foremost, make sure that whatever you’re pairing the boots with is super feminine and/or sexy. That is the biggest factor that will keep your look from feeling too much like rodeo attire and more like Carrie Bradshaw effortless-chic. Try pairing your boots with a bodycon dress, a flirty/flowy white babydoll dress, or some loose cutoff denim shorts with a sports bra and button-up.
In my recent TikTok, I styled my black Lucchese boots with a flirty, tomato red mini dress and gold accessories. I got compliments all over town!
Speaking of accessories, you’ll also want to make sure the accessories you choose are sleek and sophisticated. Chunky gold hoops, thin black sunnies, petite purses, and dainty rings/necklaces all work well. Layering too much chunky jewelry or bulky bags can weigh down your look; you want to keep everything light since boots are naturally heavier pieces.
I wore my hair down with classic, loose curls, but I really love when girls pull their hair back into sleek buns with gold hoop earrings too; it makes the look seem much more polished!
These are the things to keep in mind while styling western boots, but with Fall approaching I’m sure I will brainstorm even more ways to style cowboy boots for cooler weather.
