Sunday scaries today? With a busy week ahead, I’m definitely soaking up every bit of my Sunday today. I love spending Sundays doing meal prep/planning, tidying up, planning outfits, and getting ahead on business tasks to start the week off on a strong note. On Instagram, I also just posted a reel of this super casual neutral outfit I wore yesterday morning.
Yesterday I woke up super early ready to tackle my day around 7am. I got a few things done for work and then headed to Trader Joes to snag some groceries for the upcoming week. We hadn’t been to the store for a few weeks, so we were struggling to make meals for the last couple days 😂
When I don’t want to wear jeans, I throw on my favorite tan trousers. They’re so comfortable and have an elastic waistband, so they almost feel like sweatpants, lol. I put on a little black tube top and threw my hair up into my Anthro claw clip. It was super foggy outside, so I layered on my lightweight trench coat with my Nikes before I chugged my coffee and walked out the door.
I ended up feeling so overdressed for Trader Joes, but it was seriously such an easy and comfortable outfit. I love this time of Fall where you can get away with wearing cozy basics underneath an open trench coat. And casual neutral outfits just feel so effortless and chic. Right up my alley!
What does you week ahead look like? I have a packed week full of client work, home mini-projects, and errands. I’ve been trying to get ahead on Sunday evenings so that I can spend my Fridays super casually. I have been trying to spend Fridays as my ‘improvement” days, where I read part of a book, do some research on upcoming projects, or brainstorming ways to expand my biz. If you’re able to schedule some time in your week ahead of time for those things, I highly recommend! It helps me feel so much more optimistic as I move into the next week.
