Hey there! Have you done any fun Fall activities yet this year? On the first day of October, Tyler and I went with my cousin and her husband to a huge cider mill here in Michigan! We went to Blakes Farms and it was SO fun! I had never been there before, but there was so much to do and see. We had a few drinks by the live music and shopped at their gift shop while we waited for our table to be ready at the restaurant. They also have fun activities like haunted hayrides and a corn maze! This post is not sponsored, we just really had a lot of fun there 😂 You should definitely go there at some point this season if you’re nearby! It was a bit of a drive for us, but it was worth it!
I wanted to be really comfy and warm while at Blakes, so I pulled this blue sweater out from the depths of my closet. I got it from Zara last winter, and it is so cozy and warm. The color reminds me of a denim blue and I feel like it makes my greyish-blue eyes pop. I styled it with my black cropped flare jeans and Nikes. I really wanted to wear my black boots with this outfit, but the jeans were just a little too cropped and my boots weren’t quite tall enough. I’m now on the hunt for some chunky black chelsea boots that come up just a little higher on my calf so that I can wear them with my cropped denim!
Pro tip: a few of my favorite sweaters are a bit itchy, so I always wear a basic cotton long sleeve shirt or turtleneck underneath them! This also helps keep me extra warm and prevents me from feeling uncomfortable and itchy while I wear them. ALSO since you’re not supposed to wash sweaters very often, the cotton shirt underneath prevents your deodorant from rubbing directly on the inside of your sweater, keeping it clean longer!
Next, I really want to go apple picking this Fall at some point. What fun activities are on your Fall bucket list this year?
