Hey hey!! Have you hopped on the blazer trend this season yet? I’m here for it! I love that the looser, more casual blazer silhouettes are popular this season rather than a more structured, fitted look. I’ve seen so many cute variations of this silhouette in leather, plaid, different colors, and even some cropped versions. They’re all just adorable! And they are perfect to incorporate into an office outfit.
I have a brown leather blazer and a plaid one, but I was really in need of a basic, versatile cream blazer that I could wear multiple ways. This one is a new purchase and I’m obsessed! I even reviewed it in my latest YouTube video, here! I’m a total rookie on YouTube, but I really want to post more over there! I would really appreciate if you subscribed to my channel & liked my latest video. I plan to share more hauls, beauty reviews, styling ideas, and trending products every week!
For this outfit, I paired my new blazer with some other great basic pieces for a really versatile look. I’m finding myself saying “versatile” a lot these days. I just really love good staple pieces that I can style multiple ways. I think incorporating more of those pieces in your wardrobe really just helps your style to remain “on trend” much longer. I’m trying to focus less on micro trends and more on great pieces that have more longevity in my closet.
These faux leather pants are one of those staple pieces! I’ve been raving about these since last winter when I purchased them. The good news is that they are back in stock! When I bought them last year, they sold out so quickly and a lot of my followers that wanted to purchase them didn’t act quickly so they missed out! Make sure you grab them ASAP before they sell out again! They’re one of my favorite pieces in my closet right now and they are total dupes for the faux leather pants that are trending at Aritzia and Abercrombie… they’re just a fraction of the price!
And what I really love about these pants is that they aren’t super stiff like some faux leathers can be. They’re actually pretty stretchy which makes them so comfortable to wear. Actually, the other day I was wearing them and I got distracted and went down a TikTok rabbit hole (naturally), and 30 minutes later I found myself on the couch, curled up under a blanket, STILL wearing these pants because they are just THAT comfy! But at the same time, they also have a really great structure to them. They also suck you in at the waist! 100% a win in my book! If I had to tell you to buy ONE item from my wardrobe, it would be these pants! Okay…rant over… 😂
I also layered a basic black tube top under the blazer. Obviously, you might not want to wear a crop top to the office, but if you opt for a longer tank, you could totally tuck it in and make this a great office-appropriate look. This whole outfit would be perfect for those days when you have to go to your office from 9-5 and then the bar or dinner after.
Pro tip: Convert your longer tank into a crop top for the after-office cocktail hour by tucking it up under your bra! Just untuck your tank top from the pants, fold it up under itself, and tuck the bottom portion under your bra just a little bit to keep it secure. BOOM! Now you’ve got a great crop top. I do this ALL the time! It works great on sweaters too if you need to convert a longer sweater into a cropped silhouette.
I polished off the look with my go-to gold jewelry (don’t I always? 😂) and some strappy black heels. If you’re not crazy about wearing heels to the offie, this would also look so cute with some flats or even a slim chelsea boot. I have also worn these with my Nike low rise SE blazers and they also look super cute too! Like I said, all of these pieces are SO versatile!
I will link most of these pieces down in the “shop it” slider below this post! Make sure you act quickly if you want any of these, because they are already starting to sell out!
