I halved this recipe for this video. Cut limes in half and scoop out the flesh to set aside for juicing. Add gelatin, lime juice, and boiling water to mixing container and mix to dissolve. Then add tequila, Cointreau, and agave. Pour into your empty lime shells and refrigerate for 2-3 hours. Slice in half one more time once they’re set. It’s easier to slice them upside down! You’ve heard of jello shots before, but how about we make them marg-inspired and serve them up in the lime itself?! These were so fun to make and are great for summer parties! Recipe and a few tips below:
10 limes
2 packs of gelatin
1/2 c lime juice
1/2 c boiling water
1/3 c Cointreau or triple sec
1/2 c tequila
2 tbs agave
Makes about 40 shots! I halved this recipe for this video.
Cut limes in half and scoop out the flesh to set aside for juicing. I recommend using a sharp paring knife to score the flesh of the lime before scooping it out with a spoon. It makes things so much quicker!
