Hello! Has your schedule been nuts lately? I feel like I can’t catch a break lately, but that’s probably just because it’s the holiday season.
I was running around yesterday in my newest favorite casual dress. The color is what really sold me on this dress. I rarely buy midi dresses because I think they’re only flattering when styled specific ways. But this one is different!
This one has buttons going all the way down the front which help add more visual interest. What really sold me on this dress though, was the color! You know I’m such a neutrals girl. There’s just something about good closet staples that are easily mix & matchable. But this green color is gorgeous in person! It felt really appropriate for the holiday season as a nice alternative to the usual holiday greens. It will also be a great transition piece from winter to spring, because of the color and styling potential! There are so many ways you could style it.
If you’re hosting or attending a holiday dinner, I think this dress would be perfect. Especially if you’re a fashion lover whose family dresses casual for the holidays. I always look forward to dressing up for holiday events, but never want to stick out like a sore thumb if we’re just going ot be hanging out in the kitchen/living room all day, ya know?
This dress offers the perfect happy medium! Obviously it’s a dress so it already has style/fashionability going for it and feels a little more special than jeans and a top. But since it is a t-shirt material, it feels really casual, comfortable, and easy to style a multitude of ways. You could even tie a flannel around your waist too, if you want to cover your booty and cinch in your waist!
Earlier this week on Instagram, I posted about how I am an outfit repeater (I do own a washing machine, after all). I already have a ton of outfits planned for this dress as we move into 2022.
For the winter, I’ll also wear this under a long trench coat with some chunky boots. I also have a few long cardigan/dusters that would look adorable over top of this.
As we move into spring, I’ll transition by adding a cropped jacket over top, or tying a button-down around my waist.
During the summer, I could totally see myself wearing this with nice sandals or sneakers and a ball cap.
The possibilities are endless! I’m really glad I spent the 35 bucks on this dress, especially since I’ll be able to get so many wears out if it. It also comes in a few different colors, too, if green is too bold for you!! I’ll link the dress HERE 🙂
