With the weather changing I have been trying out some new skincare products! I have some holy grail favorites too that I’m stocking back up on for the winter. Here are the deets!
CereVe Cleanser: I have been using this exact one since 2015. My best friend in college used it and I gave it a try one day and never turned back. It gets allllll the leftover makeup off in one wash and doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry. They offer different variations depending on your skin type too!
Juice Beauty Essence: I have used this essence on and off for about 3 years now. I really love to pat it on before bed because it feels so nice on your skin. I always wake up feeling very glowy.
Paula’s Choice Liquid Exfoliant: I just started using this over the summer and it has quickly become a staple. I ran out of it a couple of weeks ago and tried to get by without it, but I just couldn’t do it! When I finally got more, I noticed overnight results. I truly feel that it reduces the size of my pores and I don’t wake up feeling oily or anything. I also have trouble getting acne scars to fade, and it helps fade scars and discoloration really quickly.
Weleda Skin Food: I have a different daytime moisturizer which is fine, but I use this at night during the super cold months because it is so nourishing and rich! It goes on so thick that I was really scared to put it on my face at first. I totally thought it would clog my pores but I haven’t had much of an issue. I want to be honest- this stuff is THICK! It will make you look like a grease ball, lol. But I don’t mind that! I typically use it right before bed which is the best time to layer on all the goods. It’s just the best for the winter when my skin gets really dry and irritated. It has a stronger scent, so if scents bother you then this might not be for you!
Sunday Riley Retinol Oil: I love everything I try from Sunday Riley. I haven’t been using this product long enough to give a thorough review, but it s good so far! I’ve been using it every night for 2 weeks, and I haven’t really noticed any super dramatic results. I think my skin is going though the “purge” that sometimes happens when you incorporate a retinol. On the packaging, it says it takes 4 weeks to see the smoothing/radiance results, so I will continue to use it until the bottle runs out!
This isn’t my full skincare routine, just my current favorites! I’m also testing out a different toner and serum, and my SPF is in my CC cream that I use everyday!
