3 Festive Cocktails for the Holidays

October 29, 2023

Looking for a few festive cocktail options for your next get together? Here are some of my favorite crowd-pleasers that are sure to get you in the holiday spirit 🎉

What I love so much about cocktails is that they are so customizable and easy to tweak based on personal preference. For my recent girl’s night, I gathered ingredients for an espresso martini and a juicy spritzer, and customized from there with a couple flavored syrups. This allowed my friends to easily choose between a pumpkin spice espresso martini, a chai espresso martini, an apple cranberry spritz, and non-alcoholic versions of all of the above by omitting the alcohol.

Breaking it down below!

Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini

2 parts vodka

1 part espresso

1/2 part coffee liqueur

1/2 part pumpkin spice simple syrup

Pumpkin simple syrup: boil 1 cup of water,3/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup pumpkin puree, 1tbs of pumpkin pie spice. once sugar dissolves, remove from heat and strain through a fine wire mesh into bowl.

Shake ingredients with ice then strain into a cocktail glass. garnish with cinnamon stick.

Cheers!

Chai Espresso Martini

2 parts vodka

1 part espresso

1/2 part coffee liqueur

1/2 part chai simple syrup

Chai simple syrup: boil 1 cup of water and steep 3 chai tea bags. remove tea bags, add 1 cup of brown sugar, and return to a simmer until sugar is dissolved.

Shake ingredients with ice then strain into a chilled cocktail glass. garnish with star anise and coffee beans.

Cheers!

Cranberry Apple Spritz

1 part vodka

4 parts cranberry juice

2 parts apple cider

soda water

mix cranberry juice, apple cider, and vodka in a cocktail shaker then strain over ice into cocktail glass. top with soda water and garnish with fresh cranberries, thin apple slices, and/or a sprig of rosemary. omit vodka for a refreshing mocktail!

.Cheers!
